ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Lima-based architect Jean Pierre Crousse used ink, markers, and crayons on tracing paper to create this working sketch of a project by his firm Barclay & Crousse.

Designed in 2010 for the Urubamba Valley of Cusco, which is considered sacred by the Incas, the house called Casa Maggiolo-Coo remains unbuilt, but Crousse said its design has helped with strategies for other projects. The piece will be autographed for ARCH.
